Easily install a TreeProtector
The GreenSecure TreeProtector prevents damage from predation, sunlight and chemicals. Install it in a few easy steps, without tools.
Preparation
Clear the planting site of grass, stones, branches and obstacles.
Make sure the sapling is clean and dry and firmly planted straight.
Check that the TreeProtector is intact and ready for use.
Advantages
Flexible and grows with the tree.
Open structure allows air and light to pass through.
Biodegradable, removal is not necessary.
Step 1: Place the beginning of the spiral
Keep the opening facing outward and place the beginning against the trunk, just above the ground.
Step 2: Wrap the guard up
Gently twist the coil up around the trunk. Not too tight: the guard is flexible and grows with you.
Step 3: Finish at the right height
Stop just below the first side branches or to the desired height. This way the trunk is fully protected. Check regularly that the TreeProtector is still in place.
